A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working within an educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract role focuses on supporting elementary-aged students within a vibrant community near New Orleans, Louisiana. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 2026, following the school calendar with a traditional Monday through Friday schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary school students
- Collaborate actively with educators, support staff, and families to promote student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, complete necessary reporting, and maintain thorough documentation
- Organize and deliver interventions in compliance with both school and state regulations
- Support a diverse caseload, adapting approaches to meet individual student needs
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Louisiana SLP license, or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience in pediatrics or school-based settings, particularly with early childhood and elementary populations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
