Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active, valid Louisiana SLP license
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Comfortable traveling between different school locations during the week
- Able to work independently and as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, intervention, and consultation services to preschool and high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and speech-language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Deliver therapy in accordance with state and federal special education guidelines
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Travel between assigned sites (location details provided during onboarding)
