Key Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience (or strong interest) in working within school environments, particularly with both preschool and high school populations
- Ability and willingness to travel between assignment locations during the week
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset to engage with educators, families, and related services professionals
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy, assessment, and intervention services to designated students
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records of progress and session notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Offer consultative support to teachers and families
- Travel between service locations as needed for student care
