- Prior experience working with school-aged children through educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy materials to various learning styles and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in a school-based setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student growth
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as necessary
- Provide direct and consultative services to address students’ unique communication challenges
- Utilize creative and evidence-based approaches in therapy sessions
