Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Indiana state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- SLP-CCC certification preferred; consideration given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Previous experience in school-based settings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and passion for working with children
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload of students with varying communication needs
- Assess, screen, and evaluate students using standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in accordance with school and state requirements
- Consult and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide support and education to school staff regarding student communication needs
