Pediatric Speech Therapist in Nampa, ID
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students in a school setting in Nampa, ID. This role focuses on providing speech and language services to children in kindergarten through 6th grade, with a caseload of approximately 15 students, primarily speech-only. The position requires working 2-3 days per week, with one day each month dedicated to leading and holding IEP meetings, during which the schedule may extend to 3 days.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Idaho State License
- Credentials such as CCC-SLP and experience with pediatric and school-based therapy are preferred
- Familiarity with conducting IEP meetings and writing IEPs using the EDPlan system
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to elementary-aged students (K-6)
- Manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 15 students, with 13 receiving speech-only therapy
- Lead monthly IEP meetings, collaborating with educational teams and families
- Provide hybrid service options, allowing for one day per week focused on documentation and IEP development
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records in adherence to district and state guidelines
Location: Nampa, Idaho
Contract Duration: August 2026 – May 2027
Work Schedule: 2-3 days per week with a monthly adjustment for IEP meeting leadership
