Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as either an SLP-CCC or SLPA (in good standing)
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and school staff
- Enthusiasm for fostering speech and language development in diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders as appropriate to credentials
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, adapting strategies to meet students’ unique needs and learning goals
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and services provided
- Support IEP development and attend meetings when necessary
- Provide consultative support and resources to teachers and school staff to enhance communication-rich environments
