We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services to K-12 students during maternity leave coverage. Both roles offer the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive school team and make a genuine difference each day.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid and active CT SLP license
- Previous experience in a school-based environment
- Willingness to work onsite with K-12 students
- District-level fingerprinting and background check (required)
- Not accepting SLPAs for these roles
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary teamwork
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Assignment Details:
- Two full-time contract opportunities (35 hours/week)
- First position: End of September through mid-December (Maternity Leave)
- Second position: Mid-November through early January (Maternity Leave)
- Immediate interview opportunities via Zoom
- Clear expectations, structured caseloads, and support from an experienced department
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to students across K-12
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
