You'll be making a significant impact during an 8-10 week assignment from the end of October through the end of January, providing essential speech and language services to early childhood through third-grade students—all at one conveniently located school site.
What You'll Bring:
- Active SLP license with CCC certification required
- Previous experience working with early childhood (EC) through at least 3rd grade preferred
- Solid understanding of speech/language assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for young children
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage with teachers, families, and school support staff
- Comfort with both onsite services (priority) and virtual (VOCO) settings—flexibility is a plus
- Organized and self-motivated, able to thrive in a busy environment with multiple student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver tailored speech/language therapy for EC-1st grade, with occasional involvement with 2nd and 3rd graders
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and document progress for each student
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, interventionists, and administrative staff to support student growth and success
- Communicate regularly with families, sharing updates and strategies to reinforce progress at home
- Deliver services primarily onsite, with opportunities for VOCO (virtual) sessions as appropriate
