Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Menifee, CA
Step into a rewarding role serving middle school students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This position offers an engaging workweek totaling 35 hours, focused on providing exceptional speech and language services to students in a supportive educational setting.
You’ll play a key role in helping students overcome communication barriers and reach their fullest academic and social potential. Collaborate with educators and families to design and implement targeted therapy plans that make a difference every day.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a middle school environment
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver individualized/group therapy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and compliance procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in line with IEP goals
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions for both individuals and small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student progress
- Maintain and complete all documentation, progress notes, and reports accurately and on time
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to IEP team discussions
- Support a positive, inclusive, and solution-oriented environment for all students
