A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school located in Arlington, TN, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers either onsite work or a hybrid schedule, providing flexibility based on candidate preference. The role is designed for a clinician comfortable working in an educational setting, with a caseload primarily focused on grades K-8.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 8th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant school policies and clinical standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the educational development of students.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in a school or healthcare environment.
- Comfort and skill in delivering services both in-person and via teletherapy.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a clinical educational environment with children.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
