Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. In this position, you’ll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school’s calendar year. Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field from an accredited program
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active FL Department of Health SLP license
- Prior experience providing SLP services in an elementary school setting a plus
- Ability to obtain clearance through fingerprinting and a transferable JLA Badge (from any district in Florida)
- Strong communication skills and commitment to student development
- Adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver therapy services to elementary-aged students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student progress
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with state and school guidelines
- Attend meetings, participate in IEPs, and contribute to school-wide initiatives supporting student success
Compensation for this role starts at $39 hourly and increases with experience, ensuring your expertise is valued.
