Qualifications:
- Current IL SLP License and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, tailored to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
- Maintain organized records and documentation per school and state guidelines
- Use creative, engaging strategies to motivate students at elementary or high school levels
