Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Maysville, NC
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students’ communication and language development for the upcoming school year. This opportunity is ideal for a speech-language pathologist with either CCC or CFY credentials who is passionate about making a difference in the educational environment.
As a vital resource across two school sites, you’ll manage a focused caseload of 18 students, dedicating 15-20 hours per week to fostering meaningful progress throughout the school year, beginning September 30, 2026.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure for speech therapy
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educational teams to support student goals
- Conduct assessments, analyze results, and maintain accurate documentation for each student
- Communicate progress to parents, teachers, and administrators
- Offer strategies and resources to help staff and families support student growth
