Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Recent experience in a school setting, ideally serving students Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students
- Passion for fostering student growth and success in speech and language development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress throughout the school year
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other related service providers
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Communicate effectively with parents, sharing progress and recommendations for at-home support
- Support a welcoming and inclusive environment for a diverse student population
