Embark on a fulfilling contract role supporting students from PreK through 12th grade as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting. This opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with consistent full-time hours (37.5 per week), Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- School experience preferred (PreK–12th grade)
- Strong leadership skills; able to supervise and mentor three Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs)
- Demonstrated ability to manage a mixed student caseload efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and success across various abilities and backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in accordance with IEPs and best practices
- Supervise, coach, and support three SLAs, ensuring quality of care and compliance with school guidelines
- Conduct assessments, create and implement individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student communication skills and learning outcomes
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and participate in ongoing professional development
