Key Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- SLPA candidates with school experience encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Maintain student progress records and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom success
- Provide therapy to both individuals and small groups, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs
