Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop rapport quickly with students, faculty, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from a variety of backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals and state educational guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all school and state reporting standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and help advocate for student supports and accommodations
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed on best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
