What You’ll Bring:
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology license in Alabama
- Certification as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or school-focused SLP strongly preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially in K-12 educational settings
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes for assigned caseload
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as an integral member of school-based teams
This position offers flexibility in scheduling, with both full-time and part-time hours available during the school week (Monday–Friday). The assignment runs from now through May 2027, providing a stable and fulfilling opportunity to impact student success. With a caseload spanning K-12, you'll work with a diverse student population and experience professional growth.
