Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments tailored to individual student needs across K-12.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills.
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students, including those with a range of speech and language disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and required reports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and work as an integral part of the student support team.
  • Offer mentorship for Clinical Fellows (CFY) when applicable, and support inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLP License in Alabama is mandatory.
  • Credentialed for SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates accepted.
  • Experience with pediatric clients and schools is highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working in school settings and supporting diverse learners.

Contract Details:

  • Full-time or part-time schedules available, 5 days per week.
  • Flexible caseloads encompassing students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Assignment runs through May 2027, with option for immediate start.
  • Competitive weekly pay between $45-$50 per hour.
