Speech-Language Pathologist in Madison, AL

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and document services
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies in the classroom
