Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license
- PEL certification (active or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility for CCC-SLP or CFY applicants
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire to make a positive difference in school-aged children’s lives
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Evaluate and monitor student progress regularly
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
- Participate in school meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities
Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract from ASAP through May 28, 2027
- Choice of early childhood or elementary-aged caseloads
