Key Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience in school-based settings, including teletherapy preferred
- Strong background in administering evaluations, managing IEPs, and articulation/language therapies
- Confidence in supervising SLPA candidates and providing observation hours as needed
- Organizational skills for tracking a caseload and maintaining accurate records
Responsibilities:
- Serve a diverse caseload of approximately 70 K-12 students with a focus on articulation and language needs
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA, providing guidance and assessment as required
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and student advocacy
- Coordinate documentation and progress monitoring for all students on the caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and allied professionals to support student success
