Key Qualifications:

  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Experience in school-based settings, including teletherapy preferred
  • Strong background in administering evaluations, managing IEPs, and articulation/language therapies
  • Confidence in supervising SLPA candidates and providing observation hours as needed
  • Organizational skills for tracking a caseload and maintaining accurate records

Responsibilities:

  • Serve a diverse caseload of approximately 70 K-12 students with a focus on articulation and language needs
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA, providing guidance and assessment as required
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Lead and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and student advocacy
  • Coordinate documentation and progress monitoring for all students on the caseload
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and allied professionals to support student success
