Located in Lowell, MA, this full-time or part-time opportunity offers a dynamic role for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential services to an elementary school caseload. The position requires hands-on, onsite work due to the nature of the caseload and includes responsibilities covering assessments, report writing, consultations, and collaboration with parents and teachers to support student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students.
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy services based on assessment findings.
- Prepare detailed reports, including IEP documentation and goal setting.
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure consistent student support.
- Provide professional consultations and participate in meetings as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Massachusetts SLP licensure is mandatory.
- Must hold CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or be in a Clinical Fellowship (CF).
- Previous school-based experience is required.
- Experience with IEP writing and educational assessments preferred.
- Candidates holding SLP Assistant (SLPA) credentials will not be considered.
- Completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting is required.
