In this unique role, you'll split your time each week between Berthoud High School and Turner Middle School, serving a caseload of approximately 50 students in a significant need program. You'll gain exposure to diverse support strategies and leadership styles, enhancing your resume and broadening your professional horizons. Being onsite also allows you to build impactful relationships with students, staff, and families, making a real difference in their daily lives.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dedicated to working onsite throughout the assignment
- Ability to adapt to new educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to approximately 50 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with special education teams and teachers across two school settings
- Document progress and contribute to IEP meetings
- Serve students in a significant need program, making a tangible impact
