A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is urgently needed for a K-12 school located in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position offers an opportunity for certified professionals seeking to work onsite with a diverse student population. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services tailored to the academic and communication needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders in children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification and licensure suitable for school settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Experience working in K-12 school environments.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology best practices and school-based therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
