Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Long Beach, CA
Advance your speech-language pathology career working with elementary and middle school students in a dynamic educational setting near Long Beach, CA! This assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2026, offering stability and continuity. As part of this role, you’ll have autonomy and impact—managing assessments, completing and presenting IEPs, and collaborating with dedicated educational staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in California (CA SLP License required)
- Accepts both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) candidates
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with elementary/middle school age groups is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to an assigned caseload of 55 students
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate actively in IEP meetings
