Early Childhood Education (ECE) High School School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Sacramento, California
Deliver impactful speech-language therapy services as you collaborate with students ranging from Pre-K to Grade 12. Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs also considered
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in Pre-K through 12th grade
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document and track student progress with clarity and accuracy
- Deliver therapy in individual, small group, and classroom settings
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers and support staff to generalize skills
- Communicate progress and recommendations with families
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines governing school-based services
