You’ll be covering two maternity leaves across the academic year. One teacher’s leave runs from late December or early January until early March, while the other will be out from mid-November through spring break at the end of March. With a diverse K-12 caseload, there’s flexibility to discuss your placement preferences to ensure the best fit.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but highly qualified Clinical Fellows will also be considered
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
- Comfort working with students across K-12, with the ability to highlight any specific grade-level preferences
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across assigned grades
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
