Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individualized student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within a K-12 school setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings
- Provide support and education to teachers, staff, and families to promote student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress toward communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to develop effective interventions
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education relevant to pediatric speech therapy
