School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Livermore, California
A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make an impact in an elementary school setting near Livermore, CA. This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 28th, 2027. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team, working onsite at one elementary school with a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students. Your expertise will help students build essential communication skills, setting them up for ongoing academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license in California
- Valid PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
- Experience or comfort working within a school environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and organize a varied caseload
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and therapy services for elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Support students with diverse backgrounds and speech/language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
This full-time position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, allowing for a stable work-life balance and a 30-minute duty-free lunch every day. You’ll enjoy a structured, consistent environment and the chance to play a vital role in the growth of outstanding students.
