School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fremont, California

This contract position is available immediately through late May 2027, offering a rewarding professional experience within a supportive school environment.
You’ll work at a single, friendly elementary school site serving a caseload of approximately 55 students. Your week will be structured, with 35 hours across Monday to Friday (8:15 am–4:15 pm, including a 30-minute duty-free lunch each day). You’ll collaborate with educators and families to implement evidence-based speech and language interventions that make a real difference in young lives.
Key requirements:
- Current California SLP certification (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Valid PPS Credential required
- Experience or a strong interest in working within a school setting
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Providing direct and consultative speech-language services to students
- Assessing, diagnosing, and documenting speech and language needs
- Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with staff and families
- Progress monitoring, data collection, and regular reporting
- Working proactively with teachers, specialists, and administrators
