Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
- Valid G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, a license from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is a plus.
- Prior experience within school settings, especially with screening, testing, diagnosing, and advising, is ideal.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive screening, evaluation, and diagnosis for students across diverse age ranges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Advise and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.
- Provide careful oversight of caseloads while ensuring effective documentation.
- Participate in planning meetings and IEP process for students receiving speech-language services.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
