Speech Language Pathologist in Littleton, CO
Step into a rewarding and impactful role supporting elementary and some PreK students as an experienced, ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist. This long-term contract assignment will cover a medical leave through the winter break, ensuring continuity of care as students continue to make progress on their communication goals.
You’ll work at a single school site with an approximate caseload of 40 students, most of whom present with mild to moderate needs. This varied and manageable caseload offers the opportunity to focus deeply on quality interventions and build strong connections with students and families. When the regular SLP returns, you’ll collaborate to provide compensatory services, making a lasting contribution to these learners’ educational journeys.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in an educational setting, especially with elementary and PreK students, preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills to efficiently manage a caseload and collaborate with staff and families
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate flexibility, and quickly acclimate to new environments
- Please note: No Voco or 1099 contractors accepted; school requires direct placement
Duties include:
- Delivering direct speech-language services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
- Providing documentation, progress monitoring, and case management
- Attending school-based meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members
- Developing and implementing creative, individualized therapy activities
