Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible Colorado state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and communication development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and provide therapeutic interventions
- Track and document student progress, closely monitoring for achievement of targeted skills
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
- Provide education and support to staff on communication disorders and effective classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education regulations
