Desired Background & Skills:
- Current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or proficiency serving pediatric populations in K-12 settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Comfortable supporting a varied caseload, including elementary and middle school students
- Enthusiasm for collaboration with staff and families to drive student progress
- School-based experience valued, but strong healthcare/SLPA candidates will also be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in individual and small group settings
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
- Complete assessments, maintain documentation, and monitor progress
- Engage in regular communication with teachers, families, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Incorporate evidence-based strategies for maximizing student communication outcomes
- Potential to support services remotely via teletherapy (as needed)
