Desired Background & Skills:

  • Current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience or proficiency serving pediatric populations in K-12 settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
  • Comfortable supporting a varied caseload, including elementary and middle school students
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration with staff and families to drive student progress
  • School-based experience valued, but strong healthcare/SLPA candidates will also be considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in individual and small group settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
  • Complete assessments, maintain documentation, and monitor progress
  • Engage in regular communication with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Incorporate evidence-based strategies for maximizing student communication outcomes
  • Potential to support services remotely via teletherapy (as needed)
