- Hold an active ME Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing speech-language services in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for preschool-aged children
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and interventions to a preschool caseload, addressing expressive/receptive language, articulation, pragmatic language, and early literacy skills
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student communication growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insight into student progress and strategies for classroom communication support
- Keep up to date with best practices and evidence-based methods in pediatric and school SLP services
