Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lincolnton, NC

Key Experience and Skills:
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working in school settings with PreK-8th grade preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of approximately 35-40 students
- Understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to fostering student growth and supporting diverse learning needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders among PreK-8th grade students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that align with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy and consultative support to students across varying ages and abilities
- Maintain accurate records on student progress and participate in student reviews and meetings
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Adapt strategies to accommodate students’ unique needs throughout the school year
- Uphold compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
