Qualifications:
- Active and current SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Proven experience with school-age children, preferably in elementary settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress tracking
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
- Implement interventions to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and strategies to teachers and families
- Offer consultation and support to school staff for best practices in communication development
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for school-based SLP services
