Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Liberty, MO
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a speech-language pathologist at the elementary level. In this role, you'll provide essential services onsite at a resource-level program from August 17, 2026, through November 9, 2026, covering a maternity leave. Work with a dedicated team and make a direct impact during regular school hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:40pm.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license in the state of Missouri required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience working in a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Strong clinical skills in assessment and intervention for a range of communication needs
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to serve a diverse resource-level caseload
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and families
- Attention to detail in documentation and progress tracking
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite to students at the resource level
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized education plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to promote student success
- Stay in regular contact with teachers and families to share strategies and progress
- Maintain accurate documentation according to school requirements and legal standards
- Provide input and support to IEP teams, ensuring compliance with all applicable guidelines
