This contract assignment covers a maternity leave from August 17, 2026, through September 4, 2026. Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current, valid SLP license (CCC required).
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings, ideally with students on the autism spectrum.
- Able to manage therapy schedules and documentation efficiently within a school day.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support teams.
- Approachable, flexible, and proactive in addressing individual student needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students in the autism program.
- Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with staff and families.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and intervention strategies.
- Participate in team meetings to review student goals and progress.
- Educate and support teachers and parents regarding speech, language, and communication development.
- Ensure compliance with all school and special education regulations.
- Engage fully onsite for the duration of assignment; remote services are not available for this role.
