Working Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:40pm, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to help students reach their communication goals in the classroom environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP, particularly within autism programs, strongly valued
- Strong communication skills and an adaptable approach in a K-5 educational setting
- Ability to efficiently manage documentation and data collection
Major Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students within the autism program
- Conduct assessments, ensure thorough documentation, and maintain compliance with IEP requirements
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to support student success
- Contribute expertise in team meetings and provide input for developing individualized intervention plans
