School Speech Therapist | Liberty, Missouri

This contract opportunity is available during the Extended School Year (ESY) session, running from June 1–30, with a break for the June 19 holiday. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary students
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with education teams and families
- Comfortable working onsite
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Passion for supporting students with high needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy tailored to students’ needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Offer direct intervention while tracking student progress
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and maintain documentation as required
- Provide support and training to staff and families related to communication strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
