Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Hold a current South Carolina SLP license
- Possess active South Carolina teacher certification
- CCC-SLP credential required (accepting Clinical Fellows with an active license)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly desired
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to commit to onsite responsibilities; local applicants preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Document sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with district policies
- Consult and collaborate with teaching staff, special educators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based interventions as needed
- Support students in developing communication, literacy, and social skills in the classroom environment
