This full-time, contract role is located near Lexington, SC. The assignment is expected to begin in February and extend through the end of the school year, offering a stable schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Hold a current South Carolina SLP license
  • Possess active South Carolina teacher certification
  • CCC-SLP credential required (accepting Clinical Fellows with an active license)
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly desired
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to commit to onsite responsibilities; local applicants preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Document sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with district policies
  • Consult and collaborate with teaching staff, special educators, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-based interventions as needed
  • Support students in developing communication, literacy, and social skills in the classroom environment
