Requirements and Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active South Carolina SLP license and SC teacher certification
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Schools-based SLP experience is a plus, especially at the elementary level
- Strong commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
- Ability to start in February (specific start date TBD) and work through end of school year
- Availability for a 37.5-hour full-time schedule each week
- Willingness to work onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse elementary school SLP caseload, providing both direct therapy and consultative services
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Document student progress and participate in parent-teacher or multidisciplinary meetings
- Offer creative, engaging interventions tailored to student needs
