Key Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status considered
- Experience with school-aged populations, particularly Kindergarten through 5th grade
- Strong skills in conducting speech-language evaluations and creating effective IEPs
- Passion for advocacy and supporting communication needs in diverse learners
- Ability to collaborate effectively in educational teams and operate independently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to a caseload of up to 30 students, predominantly ages K-5
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine speech-language eligibility
- Develop, write, and maintain IEPs aligned with student goals and compliance standards
- Offer consultative support to teachers and families for student progress and management
- Track, document, and report on student progress and outcomes in accordance with school guidelines
