Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state licensure or eligibility
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, especially with elementary-aged children
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, provide documentation, and track student progress
  • Work in both one-on-one and group settings
  • Consult with teachers and staff to integrate speech and language supports into the classroom environment
  • Educate parents and school staff about communication disorders and strategies for support
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
