As the school SLP, you’ll deliver direct therapy, conduct assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans that truly make a difference from the start date through June 17th, 2027.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and therapy services for a school-aged caseload
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers and staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and compliance with district requirements
- Engage in family meetings, multidisciplinary team collaborations, and ongoing professional development
