Qualifications
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in North Carolina
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome; district supervision available
- Experience with autism (AU) and students with low cognitive disabilities preferred
- School-based SLP experience highly desirable
- Cannot accept SLPA credentials
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services in a school setting
- Manage a caseload of up to 35 students (flexible caseload preferences)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create effective IEPs
- Assess and document student progress, adapting services as needed
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success
- Serve in full-time capacity for the academic year (August 12, 2026 to June 11, 2027; 35–37.5 hours per week)
