Elementary Certified School Speech Language Pathologist - Cary, North Carolina

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure/certification (North Carolina preferred)
- Experience providing services in educational environments
- Comfortable serving both elementary and high school students
- Skilled in one-to-one therapy and individualized learning plans
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with school staff, parents, and students
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide direct therapy
- Work 1:1 with students to support their unique communication needs
- Consult with teachers and support staff to implement classroom strategies and accommodations
- Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Educate families and caregivers regarding speech and language development and strategies for continued growth at home
